Tour Description:

Book your trip and discover a beautiful waterfall. You can easily and quickly book through this website. All of our trips to Blanche Marie have 100% guaranteed departure. These trips are offered every Monday.

Day 1:

Departure is preferably as early as possible from Paramaribo Suriname to West. That way you have a nice and quiet trip. We make enough stops during the journey, for breakfast and lunch. Stopovers: Zanderij Witagron, Moses Creek and on to choice. The last part of the route is a sand road and is bad: keep in mind that your assistance will be requested.

Because of the road, it may be that we arrive in the dark. At Blanche Marie we build a camp of tents or hammocks. The accommodation is in such bad condition that we have chosen not to stay here anymore. You can explore the resort from the camp or direct a refreshing dip in the naturally pure spring water from the Upper Nickerie River. Spend your first night at Blanche Marie in discretion: relax.

Day 2:

Today we visit the Blanche Marie waterfalls. Don’t forget your swimsuit! We recommend that you use the morning to make a packed lunch. We’ll spend some time at the waterfalls and enjoy the magnificent spectacle. The walk to the motherfalls takes about 15 minutes.

At the falls can be a good fishing experience for example, the giant catfish (Spikri Kati) and anjoemara can be caught here. At night we sleep in hammocks. In the background you can hear the soft murmur of the waterfalls.

The afternoon is for daredevils the opportunity to visit the Eldorado Fall (if accessible and life jacket). This hidden treasure is so special that the rest of your life with will remember it.

Day 3:

Today we leave in the morning to the Indian village Apoera. Along the way come across an abandoned train station in the jungle. Here are two locomotives that never drove and are overgrown by nature . The train station is inhabited by bats and does not smell very pleasant. After arriving in Apoera, you know the various crafts of the indigenous population. We will now explore the town and a have boat trip along the Corentyne River. At night there is the possibility of visiting the disco. We overnight in Apoera, where we will sleep in beds.

Day 4:

Today we quietly returned to Paramaribo. On the way we often stops to swim in creeks and enjoying nature.
